Sulphadimidine Injection

Sulfadimidine acts usually bactericidal against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms, like Corynebacterium, E.coli, Eimeria, Fusobacterium necrophorum, Pasteurella, Salmonella and Streptococcus spp. Sulfadimidine affect bacterial purine synthesis, as a result of which a blockade is accomplished.

A sulfonamide antibacterial injection active against a range of gram-positive and gram-negative organisms in animals, used for susceptible bacterial and coccidial infections. It acts by interfering with bacterial folic acid synthesis. To be used under veterinary supervision.

Dosage & Administration

The dose, frequency and duration of treatment must be determined by a qualified veterinarian according to the condition and the response of the animal. Always follow the prescription and the approved package insert. Route of administration: Parenteral injection (intravenous/intramuscular).

Storage

Store below 30°C, protected from light. Do not freeze. Keep out of the reach of children. Use immediately after opening / reconstitution.
