Atrostar Injection (Atropine Sulphate 1 mg (per ml)) belongs to the Antimuscarinic / anticholinergic agent class of medicines, manufactured by Star Laboratories (Pvt) Ltd, Lahore, Pakistan.

A veterinary injectable anticholinergic agent used during anaesthesia and surgery to reduce salivary and respiratory tract secretions. It is also used as supportive treatment in certain conditions such as organophosphate poisoning and to manage some cardiac and gastrointestinal effects, under veterinary direction. Administer by a veterinarian.

Dosage & Administration

The dose, frequency and duration of treatment must be determined by a qualified veterinarian according to the condition and the response of the animal. Always follow the prescription and the approved package insert. Route of administration: Injection (parenteral).

Storage

Store below 30°C, protected from light. Do not freeze. Keep out of the reach of children. Use immediately after opening / reconstitution.
