Composition

Each pessary contains: Sulphathiazole 1750 mg, Penicillin G 100,000 IU, Streptomycin Sulphate 50 mg, Ethinyloestradiol 0.5 mg.

Utenol Pessaries (Sulphathiazole 1750 mg, Penicillin G 100,000 IU, Streptomycin Sulphate 50 mg, Ethinyloestradiol 0.5 mg) belongs to the Intrauterine antibacterial combination — sulphonamide plus penicillin and aminoglycoside antibiotics, with an oestrogen (ethinyloestradiol) class of medicines, manufactured by Star Laboratories (Pvt) Ltd, Lahore, Pakistan.

A veterinary intrauterine pessary combining the antibacterials sulphathiazole, penicillin G and streptomycin with the oestrogen ethinyloestradiol. It is used in cows, buffaloes and mares for the prevention and management of bacterial infections of the genital tract caused by susceptible organisms. To be administered by or under the supervision of a veterinarian.

Dosage & Administration
