Each 100 g contains: Sulphamerazine 23 g, Sulphaquinoxaline 10 g, Acetarsol Sodium 14 g, Nitrofurazone 1 g.

Polycox Powder (Sulphamerazine 23 g + Sulphaquinoxaline 10 g + Acetarsol Sodium 14 g + Nitrofurazone 1 g per 100 g) belongs to the Anticoccidial and antibacterial combination (sulphonamides with an organic arsenical and a nitrofuran) class of medicines, manufactured by Star Laboratories (Pvt) Ltd, Lahore, Pakistan.

A veterinary combination powder used in the management of coccidiosis in poultry and certain bacterial conditions of birds, including fowl cholera and salmonellosis (pullorum disease). The sulphonamide and adjunct agents act against susceptible protozoal and bacterial organisms. To be used under veterinary supervision with appropriate withdrawal periods.

Dosage & Administration

The dose, frequency and duration of treatment must be determined by a qualified veterinarian according to the condition and the response of the animal. Always follow the prescription and the approved package insert. Route of administration: Oral (in feed or drinking water).
