- Each ml contains:
- Trimethoprim…………………………80 mg
- Sulphadiazine………………………..400 mg
- INDICATIONS: The two active ingredients of Trisolizin suspension produce a sequential double blocked of bacterial synthesis of folinic acid, giving level of activity times greater then that obtained from either drug alone. Invitro activity of Trisolizin is extensive and covers most common Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria including actinobacilus spp, actinomyces spp, bordetella spp, brucella spp, abortus spp, corynebacterium spp, Escherichia coli, Fusiformis spp, haemophilus spp Klebsiella spp, listeria monocytogenes, nocardia spp, pasteurella spp, proteus spp, salmonella spp, staphylococcus spp, and streptocous spp,
- ADMINISTRATION & DOSAGE:
- Poultry: Prophylactically
- add the drug in drinking water at the rate of 1 ml per 4.5 liter and administer for 5 days.
- Curative:
- 2 ml for 4.5 liter of drinking water for 3-5 days.
- Cattle, Cows, Mares:
- 16 mg per kg body weight (1 ml for every 30 kg) for five days daily.
