• COMPOSITION
• Each bolus contains:
• Trimethoprim………………………200 mg
• Sulphadiazine………………………1000 mg
• INDICATIONS: Trisolizin Bolus is a broad spectrum antibacterial highly effective against E-coli, Salmonella spp., Haemophillus and pasteurella infections. It is primarily indicated in preruminant calves for the treatment of acute Salmonellosis and bacterial pneumonia. Together the active ingredients produce a double block age of folic acid synthesis in bacteria, resulting in a level of activity much greater then that obtained from either drug alone.
• ADMINISTRATION & DOSAGE :
• Calve: The daily dose is one bolus per 40 kg body weight given orally, providing 30 mg of combined active constituents per kg body weight daily. Treatment should be repeated daily until two days after the symptoms have resolved.
