- Each kg contains: 30% 50% 70%
- Sulphadimidine Sodium 300 gm 500 gm 700 gm
- Dextrose Anhydrous 700 gm 500 gm 300 gm
- INDICATIONS: Sulphadimidine is lethal for both gram-positive and gram-negative bacterial. i.e. Pasteurella, Salmonella & Coliform organisms. it is a drug of choice whenever Sulphadimidine therapy is indicated, for example pyogenic respiratory or gastro-intestinal infections. It is ideal for pasteurellosis (Haemorrhagic septicaemia) Actinobacillosis (Wooden tongue) Actinomycosis (Lumpy jaw) collibacillosis and in Coccidiosis of all animals including poultry. In poultry or other animals when given orally Sulphadimidine solution absorbed immediately from the gastro-intestinal tract and it provides an appropriate and therapeutic concentration in the blood.
- ADMINISTRATION & DOSAGE:
- Sulphadimidine 30% powder
- In large animal Sulphadimidine Sodium powder 30% may be given 1 gm 1.5 kg body weight, then half of the initial dose once daily except dog (one third of the initial dose twice daily).
- Sulphadimidine 50% powder
- In large animal Sulphadimidine Sodium powder 50% may be given 1 gm 2.5 kg body weight, then half of the initial dose once daily except dog (one third of the initial dose twice daily).
- Sulphadimidine 70% powder
- Is large animal Sulphadimidine Sodium powder 70% may be given 1 gm 3.5 kg body weight, then half of the initial dose once daily except dog (one third of the initial dose twice daily ).
