- Each ml contains:
- Progesterone………………………………25 mg
- INDICATIONS: The main function of Progesterone is to establish & then maintain pregnancy, by preparing the uterine endometrium for implantation & by preventing myometrial uterine contractions during pregnancy , Additionally, progesterone strongly depresses the production of follicle stimulating hormone by the anterior pituitary gland and consequently the development of ovarian follicles, progesterone injection is intended for systematic Progesterone therapy of short duration.
- ADMINISTRATION & DOSAGE:
- Subcutaneous or intramuscular injection, observing the usual aseptic precautions.
- Cow: 4 -6 ml per 300 kg of body weight.
- Bitch & Cat: 1 ml per 10 kg body weight.
