- Anatar is effective parenterally in every small doses, as it depresses conditional reflexes and changes the pattern of behaviour, usually making excitable animals more docile.
- ADMINISTRATION & DOSAGE:
- Horses & Cattle
- For light sedation and as a pre-anaesthetic.
- Intravenously 0.5 ml per 100 kg body weight.
- Intramuscularly 1 ml per 100 kg body weight.
- Strong sedation: Twice the above mentioned dose.
- Dogs & Cats:
- For light sedation and as a pre-anaesthetic.
- 0.02 – 0.03 ml per kg body weight.
- Intravenously or Intramuscularly.
- Strong sedation: 0.05 ml per kg body weight
