  • Each Bolus Contains:
  • Albendazole…………………………..200 mg
  • INDICATIONS: Alvenax is Albendazole , an anthelmintic belonging to benzimidazole group and active against most nematode and some  cestode worms. Alvenax has an influence on the uptake of glucose and can affect glycogen metabolism. This action is noticeable in the intestinal cells; other parasites are unable to absorb nutrients, so that the parasite is eventually starved of glycogen.
  • ADMINISTRATION & DOSAGE:
  • Sheep & Goat:
  • liver flukes: One bolus per 26 kg body weight.
  • Lung, round and tape worms: One bolus per 40 kg body weight.
  • Cattle & Camels:
  • liver flukes: One bolus per 20 kg body weight
  • Lung, round and tape worms: One bolus per 26 kg body weight.
  • Horses:
  • Lung, round and tape worms: One bolus per 40 kg body weight.
  • Pack Size: Pack of 10’s and 50’s
